Subject: Changes in the Charter and guild ranking Mon May 12, 2008 5:30 pm

We made some change lately as we try to polish the guild before The Big Day.

- First the minimum age requirement in the charter is now raised to 25+. We know that age doesn't necessarily mean maturity but we believe that in many case it helps. And also as most of our members are 30+, it sounded more suitable. This will not apply to family and friends of one of our member.

- Second, we changed the guild ranking system and made it more simple with full power for Guild Members in guild decision. We are all grown up mature people, so we thought all these complicated guild ranks were not necessary Wink

Here are the new ranks:

GUILD RANKING

Guild Candidates:
Anyone who is interested in our guild can become a candidate as soon as they have posted an application in the recruitment section. They then need to have a small chat with one of the Masters in-game or on our IRC channel to complete the interview and become a Guild Initiate.

Guild Initiates:
An Inititiate will be guilded IG and has access to the Inn in our private forums so that s(he) can participate in the guild life. After they have grouped with some of our members for a while and receive a positive vote from the majority of the guild members, the Initiate will become a full Guild Member.
This is also the rank given directly to any friends of a guild member.

Guild Members:
Normal rank after being accepted in the guild. Guild Members will participate fully in the guild life and decisions. They will have access to the Guild Council forum where most decisions for the guild are taken with the help of polls.

Guild Masters:
The founding members and a few members participating a lot in the guild activities and who have proved themselves worthy. But there is no rush to fill the ranks of the Masters. A new Guild Master needs a positive vote from all active Guild Masters.

Other ranks such as Guild Ambassadors and Guild Raid Leaders will probably be created in the future if/when necessary.

Expect a few more changes, server choice and more info on guild aim and progression later this week as the BIG day is coming close Smile

Worked a bit on the portal page, added the calendar at the bottom of the page and a few other goodies. Rewrote the all you ever wanted to know thread now that we are active in AoC.
Also started advertise for our guild in the official EU AoC forum. Specially on the Dagon server forum. Please bump it from time to time.

does anybody know why Im missing some of the images on the forum? Im missing f.ex the "no new posts" and people online and such. Im not missing all images.. Just a few of them?

Will check that. Also just added a gallery so that you can upload your pix. Have to create small icons to match website for that also though.

Forum gallery is now working. You can find it on the top menu betwwen the Portal and Calendar link.
You have also the possibility to have a personal gallery if you wish to show some of the nice screenies you have taken in the past in other games or a picture of your rabbit Wink

Yes. I still got no images for "vied user profile", "send private message" and send email" As well as for now new messages

I had same problem on another forum.

I thought it was the forum it self but then i used a little program called CCleaner.

I cleaned up my computer of unwanted files and i did also a registry cleaning. And for me it helped.

You can try and se if that help you.
Just do a search for the program and you will find it.

It's probably something like that. Or your browser cache maybe. As on my side everything seems to work perfectly.

Ii prefere to reinstall often instead Smile

Besides I doubt that is it since this machine was reinstalled two weeks ago due to new hardware. Ill try to look at the browser cache. Thanks for the help Smile
