Custom UI and today's patch

Hi guys,

Just wanted to tell that some Custom UIs make the patched game crash (it doesn't go further than the login screen, as i understand).

So, just in case, reverting to default UI seems to be the solution.

Oh, and i had no problem with Mirage UI (once its version num is updated of course).

Grey map bug, a workaround

SEems that you just have to reload the map ;

Option, interface (IU), just uncheck "show the map", press ok.

Then re-do the same operation, but of course, check the "show the map"

Seems to work according to the forums.

Hi everyone !

While browing the Dagon forum on the official forum, i've noticed that some PvP events are taking place.

Unfortunatly we're all too low in level to participate, however that's already something to know such events are organized isn't it.

First Dagon War Day is tomorrow, open to levels 70-80.

It'd nice that if someone ever hear of such another event, that (s)he post about it in our forum ?

I do a separate thread that can go to the trashbin as from tomorrow ; just to tell that today's patch is quite big.

There are several smaller files + a bigger one, >100Mo.

So patching might take quite a longer time today, depending on how busy are the servers.

Take that into account if you ever have to be somewhere IG at a certain time

We have discovered that some old friends from EQ2 are reforming our old guild on the Crom server and after much thought, discussion and heart wrenching we have decided to re roll our characters on Crom and rejoin our friends.

Thought i will start a thread in the subject of things you should avoid atm untill they have fixed the bugs etc.

Yesterday i tryed to do some quest in Kopshef province in the pyramid.

I had about 4 quest to the palace but all was bugged and i couldnt complete or continue them.

The hole place is like a bugg zone.

You can walk through locked doors, cliping is not working. I felt through the floor and got killed in the fall.

The quest marker is way off where it should be.

Second Impressions

Well the first impressions are over, and to be honest i cant see me playing past the first free month if i make it that far.

Ive been playing a guardian and enjoying it at first, but the game just isnt capturing my focus at all.

It could be my class though i enjoyed playing tanks in Warcraft it may not be the class for me here, so i will try the others first before i leave.

Though i think its just the mmo blues i have the feeling ive done this all before in warcraft and though ...

Just wondering if its just me?, or is the forums still down. I get a logg inn request, and i have tried both my "acounts there".

Anyways, since Aoc is down to about 8.00 gmt I could go there and read.

Btw, im abit curious to how well the game will run in a big raid...

I must say it's one of the smoother releases I have been in. I did not expect that, I was waiting for all sorts of problems but when the servers finally came up I played for 4 hours straight without any problems. Not bad.

What is bad is communication before the guild is started. I found no way to start chat channels so we had no idea where everyone were. This will fix itself as soon as Medrall reach 20. I made level 12 tonight with my main character.

I saw that there were 27 instances ...

Omfg, last pach 10.30, and suddenly my pach downloader crashes, I re hit the pach downloader and I suddenly get the message, do u want to unninstall the game? Wtf? I go to my pacher in my folder and try and run the pacher from there only to get the corrupt file statment, and it says install the game again. So thats what im doing now, wich meens no age of conan b4 tomorrow. ARGHHH, I tried to fix it on the setup thingy import/fix didnt help, so here I am waxhing the game instalation. Im sad;(
